Ideo Parfumeurs Arak Baraka is a tribute to arak, the Lebanese aniseed liquor that is more than just a drink, a common thread connecting gastronomy, conviviality and the Lebanese way of life. The fragrance is built on the contrast between a timeless woody aromatic accord and a daring, crystalline touch of anise.

Perfumer Camille Chemardin describes wanting to capture the purity of anise, its crystalline glow as it blends with water, and the light, lingering intoxication it leaves on the skin, while dry woods like cedar ground the composition and give it depth.
